Emerson Drewes (she/her) is a dedicated news and Business reporter who has worked extensively with multiple communities across the West. She is currently a Business reporting intern at The Seattle Times, and formerly of The Los Angeles Times, Las Vegas Review-Journal, National Judicial College and student  newspaper The Nevada Sagebrush. Drewes was the longest serving Executive Editor at the Sagebrush in it's 130-year history and lead multiple initiatives to instate a sustainable source of funding.

Drewes recently graduated magna cum laude from the University of Nevada, Reno with a degree in journalism, with an emphasis in news, broadcast and documentary.
